OK, two questions then: 1. Who is "us" in "they betrayed us"? 2. How did they betray that "us"? I will remind you that to betray means to "expose (one's country, a group, or a person) to danger by treacherously giving information to an enemy."
The FBI lied to Fisa court. The FBI conspired to infiltrate Catholic Churches. The FBI investigated parents who objected to school board actions. The CIA conspired to interfer with the last election by lying about the Biden laptop. I could go on.
OK. I know about one individual at the FBI, attorney Kevin Clinesmith, who pled guilty to one count of altering one email to a Supervisory Special Agent (SSA) by adding three words "not a source". The SSA signed and submitted the fourth FISA application to the FISA Court. So he didn't actually lie to the Court. And this is ONE FBI employee, not the entire FBI. Are you basing your mistrust on the entire FBI on one employee at the FBI who altered one email?
I don't know anything about their infiltrating Catholic Churches, so I looked it up. It is an ALLEGATION by the GOP-controlled House Judiciary Committee based on whistleblower testimony. So it is alleged and not yet proven. Testimony has to be corroborated by documentary evidence. Anybody can say anything, even under oath, and that doesn't mean it's true.
Re the investigations the FBI opened, they were responding to criminal threats against school personnel, not parentsтАЩ views about school curriculum.
By the CIA, do you mean 40 FORMER CIA officials who released an open letter stating that the release of the alleged emails "has all the classic earmarks of a Russian information operation"? If so, they were not at the CIA at the time and the CIA isn't responsible for what former employees say.
Austin, you are very clever. You have an answer for every factual statement that isn't convenient to your agenda whether it's supported by facts or not. This makes for a tiresome (your word, earlier) conversation. I've had enough. I won't be conversing with you any more.
The justice system. The FBI. Top brass of military. Journalism. Academia. I could go on.

Betrayed our trust. Americans.
Thanks for the answer to #1. Pls answer #2.
The CIA spied on Senate staffers. The CIA spies on you and me.
Re the Senate staffers. Yes, that happened. Once, in 2014. Your last sentence is pretty broad.

Your trust is charming. One FBI agent was involved in lying to the Fisa court and we know it was only one because...the Biden justice dept said so.
Garland admitted the FBI was considering infiltrating Catholic parishes.
Pretty remarkable that local school board officials can get the Attorney General to investigate their charges..and so rapidly, too!
The CIA watches very carefully the statement of employees and former employees, especially fo such high ranks.
Again, your faith is charming.

Do you have any idea how radicalized you sound?
