Meanwhile, Mahmoud Khalil, who, let’s be clear, hasn’t been charged with a single crime, gets bagged and shipped off like a political dissident in some Banana Republic because he dared say things that made Trump mad.
This was never about antisemitism. It was never about free speech. It’s about who gets to say what and who gets punished for it. It’s about raw, unchecked power. They want to criminalize dissent. They want to make examples of people. And they’re testing how far they can push it before the public catches on.

Let’s at least understand than enmity is real. And so for a while after 1941 many American hated Japs. In those crude terms. Khalil does hate Israel. He has a good reason for that. His people are victims. Some may also be perps but that is a fine point.

I think the point is Khalil is NOT a perp.
