Adam is one of the most respectable ex-politicians I know of, and I hope he can become a greater influence outside of government service as he was able to as a member of Congress. Exposing political hypocrisy and power-hunger vs. concern for the health of the USA is so critical right now!
I believe his smell is probably from his diapers. I'm not sure, but I do know that if one does not change their diapers "regularly" the smell can get excruciatingly bad.

Having moved from New Orleans to The Woodlands, I wanted both Mr. Miller and Mr. Kinzinger to mention the parts of town where each resides. I hope to stumble across the former congressman at a store sometime.
Mr. Kitzinger, I truly appreciate all you have done in calling out the lies, misinformation and cowardice of the GOP which has come at great personal and professional cost to you and your family. Why, oh why, aren't the Republicans who are leaving using their early dismissal as a platform for calling out Trump? Are they that afraid of their constituents? Or is it simply a strategic manoeuvre - trying to straddle both sides in order to perhaps have a career in government at some later point? It's infuriating.
Dear Tim - you are doing a great job. One friendly reminder. Be careful with your context and tone of voice when you call Trump obese. You can poke at the Orange Bloviator without fat-shaming or implying a moral equivalence between obesity and malignant narcissism. That Trump is obese is not remarkable. What is notable is that he is more obese than he admits, and everyone can see it. He is a liar - about his physical condition as well as his being the second coming. P.S. I think Trump takes Ozempic. Not that there’s anything wrong with that.
I'd love to see more foreign policy content on this podcast!! Kinzinger's rant made me feel not crazy, which is how I feel around the way-too-many people who think the world can just ride out another Trump presidency. I especially appreciated this part: "I think the choice is weak versus evil..." followed by "...Trump is evil and weak."
Omg I had to is on as I was putzing around the apartment and heard “tomorrow we’ll have one of my favorite people on” and then cue BEYONCÉ - and I was like, “wait…whoa…” and then stumbled through a series of emotional feelings so many feelings mostly excitement then.. ah. It was the outro tune. Please tell me I’m wrong please please please
Thanks for putting the Beyoncé track on here. I teach music all day to elementary students, and while it is a blast, I’m so very behind on modern music. It’s been fun to have all the variety in the outro songs.
I’m asking Tim to ask Adam to reach back out to the Biden campaign. Don’t wait for them. Ukraine and Europe are too important. I think of this pro-democracy campaign as a Broadway musical ( or a BBall or football team). All the dancers or players are playing different roles and making different moves. There has to be exquisite choreography and coaching. It shouldn’t/can’t be all on the back of Biden or the Democrats. What day you?
Maybe but the campaign has professionals on it that know what they are doing (not saying they are always right) and I bet they have a plan on what issues and when to push different issues. I think the democracy/j6/republicans against Trump will all be during the convention. Otherwise the message might get watered down.
I also think people will be surprised that a lot of these republicans won’t even be asked to help. They just can’t be controlled on their messaging and thus will say stuff like “I’m not voting for Biden” or “Biden is worse than Trump”
I would hope that the Biden campaign wouldn’t offer invitations to those GOP members still endorsing Trump. Never Trump GOP members are far BETTER messengers to swing GOP members than Biden and Democratic surrogates could ever be

I would take Adam here in MN as well, but while I was listening to him talk about Democrats reaching out to the anti-Trumpers, all I could think is, why isn't Adam running as a Democrat in Texas, at some level, any level. Be the center right Democrat he is looking to run for office in Texas.
I've always wondered what is going on in Texas? They keep electing an attorney general who has been under investigation for fraud for nine years.Ted Cruz is the least liked person in the senate and then there is Abbott. Maybe they consume too much tabasco sauce.
