I do completely agree with all the sentiments against political violence. But given the Trump v. U.S. ruling, the Supreme Court has taken us back to 1775 and bestowed upon the presidency the capacity for tyrannical power far beyond the power of George III and far beyond what the colonists rose up in "political violence" to overthrow. We do not condemn that political violence every July 4. We exalt it.
If Trump and Vance were to ascend to the throne and threaten to overthrow our constitutional rights, our right to bear arms would be our only recourse. We would need to use it or lose it. We are so dangerously close to this scenario. We must be prepared for this. We are not, and they know it.
