The fact it is called "entitlements" doesn't mean we have to use the term. I paid for 40 years into my "entitlement". Social security is a form of annuity and should be addressed as such.

'Entitlements' was the term Jonathon Karl of 'This Week' used when he corrected Mullin on the show, of course having no impact whatsoever of the dumb as rock Senator.

“Entitlement” is another word the right has successfully besmirched, like “liberal”. It simply means we are entitled to it. It doesn’t need to have the pejorative taint.

The power of the right wing message machine is amazing. Democrats can’t match it. The right knows to keep messages short, memorable, and repeat them over and over. Democrats get too deep in the intellectual weeds.
