FWIW I commented on three of those Trump-friendly NRO Instagram posts and asked them why they were boosting Trump. I subscribe to NRO and like it, but I am puzzled by those posts. Several of their writers, like Charlie Cooke, Noah Rothman, and Jay Nordlinger are decidedly NOT Trump fans.

Good! Feedback matters. I agree, it would not be a noteworthy item if it were a more shamelessly pro-Trump outlet.

I so love it when you dunk on NRO. Thank you for this.

Tim is his usually witty self. But I fear that nobody today has the proper vocabulary to describe what is actually going on. F**k, s**t, etc,, are poor descriptions of the very depressing disintegration of our democracy right before our eyes. I am clutching my pearls, also.

Sorry Tim, no sympathy here.

Regards and good luck, a life long Sonics fan

"...the National Review feed had me clutching my pearls."

The great thing about this is that it's not a cliche nor hyperbole when Tim says it.

Sorry Timmy, but Suns about to execute the proverbial "Gentlemen's Sweep" on the Nuggets. 4-1. Lakers and Suns in WCF.

It feels like a good 30 to 40 percent of Americans are forever lost to the MAGA cult at this point. I'm not sure how we form any kind of government with people who look at Trump and say, "More, please!"

"This is what the [Trump-addicted] voters, donors, Instagram followers, etc. want!"

For 7 years I have been anxiously awaiting the "Mitchell Lewis moment." First I thought the "Access Hollywood" fiasco would do it. Then "Charlottesville" (his spiteful defense, not the initial stupid comment). Then the Mueller report. Then 1/6/21. Now it's painfully clear that only after he physically "melts" will the cowards finally say "Hail Dorothy!"

Outstanding Triad, Tim.

Sorry Tim, but the Nuggets being "generally good" over the years is largely fool's gold. Denver, as being one of the two teams that play at altitude, has had the greatest home court advantage of any franchise. In fact, Denver usually has the biggest home/away splits in the league. In short, alot of those so-called good teams that finished approximately 47-35 or so were actually .500 teams or worse. Nevertheless, go Nuggets and they really are good this year (and that home court advantage may be the edge).
