I've always hated "From the team that brought you XYZ" style ads, but it really is one of the few movies where you're like "Okay, this is a legit selling point and I understand why they're not going plot-heavy with the trailer."

I feel like this is especially useful for smart horror put out by A24-size companies. Wife & I wouldn't have sought "Under the Silver Lake" as soon as we did if we didn't learn it was from the "It Follows" director.
We saw the "Companion" trailer before "Nosferatu" and really couldn't be sure if it was CW-pretty-people-horror or something more until we saw the "Barbarian" connection.
