I've always hated "From the team that brought you XYZ" style ads, but it really is one of the few movies where you're like "Okay, this is a legit selling point and I understand why they're not going plot-heavy with the trailer."
I feel like this is especially useful for smart horror put out by A24-size companies. Wife & I wouldn't have sought "Under the Silver Lake" as soon as we did if we didn't learn it was from the "It Follows" director.
We saw the "Companion" trailer before "Nosferatu" and really couldn't be sure if it was CW-pretty-people-horror or something more until we saw the "Barbarian" connection.
Really enjoyed Barbarian, so Companion has moved up on my watchlist.
Same, I'm organizing a group of friends to go see it based solely on that. Barbarian was fantastic, another film I saw thanks to Sonny.
Sonny is always right

Love Mythic Quest. Charlotte Nicdao at the center of a Tina Fey show has been my dream since the first season
Oh man that would be great. She definitely has some Tina Fey in her.
