Doesn’t dt give all they need to run a robust campaign against him?

I keep thinking of s few good taglines to catch on?

List what he says. Gently ask a question under it” Is that what u believe?”

Then roll the truth( using no buzz words just truth. )

Pres Biden has a great way of saying the truth;

When our kids were teenagers I mostly asked a lot of questions. I felt it could diffuse the attack my GOAL was to make my very independent teens understand they were not always right and if I could get them to THINK about thier stance. That was a good stradegy.

I ended up frustrating one of them who finally shouted at me” Mom you’re not saying anything to me you just keep asking questions!!”

It was a marker in my life.

“Truth frustrates. Questions irritate. Thinking has answers”

Just saying...

How much true deep level dishonesty, party line crap, efforts here, efforts there are really just large negotiations to get what certain ppl WANT is really blind ambition?

ISN’T MORE EXPECTED w the higher position?

There is REAL PPL under policy.

Real ppl fighting 2 yrs in Ukraine.

( can we just take a second and understand the evil of anyone next to us wiping out our LR, our kitchen, our back yard, our town park, our hospital, our our savings, our family? Sons and daughters have been taken, killed, buried. Ect. )

dt should not be CALLING OR CONVERSING W CONGRESS!( he is not the president/ and actually did he know how to be?)( notice only the high asset earners admit dt had good policies)( everyone else admired him thru remote mirroring as a

domestic wife abuser claims her husband is a good man)who just feels defeated in her situation.

Just watching the reporting on dt last trial( EJCarol didn’t just win for herself but for everyone woman out there who isn’t heard.)

Watching DT’s behavior thru all this NEEDS TO BE SHOWING AND CONFIRMING WHO dt IS, what the truth is and what we need to do about it.

The biggest problem is the radical religious faction in the GOP.

A vast majority of people in Trump's orbit and in his inner circle are not just religious, but fanatical "believers". Like in End Times. Like in we are actually doing God's work so you can't attack for doing it illegally, as "God reigns supreme". Look at taped conversation between Scott Perry and Jeffrey Clark talking about God's will in installing Clark at top of DOJ.

We need a religious test for office .... but not the one we have (that we are not supposed to have...)

Restore order at the flooded southern border with an executive order to close it! Trump will still be there tomorrow.

Trump has never been solely responsible for where we find ourselves. The stage was set by the people like Pat Buchanan, Newt Gingrich and the Koch brothers. Rupert Murdock and his media empire also contributes massively. Trump was the effective tool that brought all of this together, but still could not have done it without a supporting cast. His enablers will bear the consequences of what comes. How can we hate the everyday American people that have been taken advantage of by this indoctrination. This has happened for thousands of years. It is the leaders that are to be blamed. The Republican Party has already ceased to exist. It is the Trump party, and only has Trump supporters left in it. All others have been pushed aside. Explain to me what it means when 25 states with formerly Republican governors sign on to support Texas in defying their own conservative Supreme Court they worked so hard to obtain. Where does this end?

I appreciate what and how you wrote what you wrote. I'm in Texas. What's your favorite idea for how an accomplished professional can make a difference to strengthen our democracy - to reach the "people (who) have been taken advantage of by this indoctrination".

I am a member of an old man’s discussion group trying to address that very answer. We have been meeting for almost 3 years, and still struggle trying to speak even to family members about politics. Most everyone are still centrist Republicans, myself more a centrist Democrat - referring to myself as independent. Living in Indiana that means I am considered leftist. We have lost friends and golf partners over politics, and wanted to try to develop civil discourse that could be used with others. Successful in our group, but not really outside.

The major takeaway is that the media that people watch and listen to has driven all of us apart. We think that Rush Limbaugh and his type have been a cancer in our civic body. However even he often brought up some views worth considering.

We are still looking for good answers.

Please can I be the one to tell trumpie that his "“Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp" statement is resulting in millions of people sending donations to Nikki's campaign - and asking for a receipt?

"Anybody that makes a ‘Contribution’ to Birdbrain, from this moment forth, will be permanently barred from the MAGA camp."

Racking my brains to think where I heard this before. . .

Oh! Yes! It went something like - "Anyone who plays with Smelly Pants can't be in our gang! "

Nikki should sing to him:

"Trump got stuck in the schoolyard,

The schoolyard, the schoolyard!

Trump got stuck in the schooooool YARD!

And he's an old, old man!

Tim Scott. Ugh. The Germans, bless them, have a word for everything and in this case it's "fremdschamen" - the feeling of embarrassment you get on behalf of someone else who can't see their own cringeworthy behaviour.

Been brooding about this coronation all day. There was a news story to the effect that Trump is threatening everybody to get in line-he told donors to get onboard by x date or be banished forever.

At what point will people who have a lot of money, power, and are used to getting their way get tired of being threatened by some two bit con artist that isn’t nearly as rich as they are? Come ON oligarchs! Do your job! Get rid of the upstart.

Michael Wood's open letter to Nikki is breathtaking. In my dreams I can picture her reading it, closing the laptop, standing and straightening her beautiful jacket and marching out to fight the glorious fight. It could happen! A girl can dream...

With all of the awfulness on display in today's piece, I'm not sure why, but the one that got to me the most was Susan Collins saying she doesn't see herself endorsing Trump AT THIS POINT. We all know what's coming, right?

The biggest coward among the whole craven republican party is mitch mcconnell. I hope he lives long enough to see his party in ruins, his reputation utterly in tatters, and his precious scotus "justices" thrown in the muck where they belong. The only person I loathe more than trump is fucking mitch mcconnell.
