Also I could care less about the broadcast antitrust exemption the NFL has. With the most popular sport in America it might just be time to get rid of it. I imagine the hosts of the podcast likely have no affinity for exemptions to begin with in this arena.
Of course they can’t go overboard like show the Super Bowl on AppleTV only but a single playoff game is a different story especially since it’s still shown in the local markets of the competing teams.
For all the people across the country that complain about Peacock having a single playoff game I say grow the hell up. A service like Peacock has a hard time competing with Disney+, Amazon, Netflix and Paramount+. They took a gutsy shot paying 110 million for a single game and it appeared to have worked so far.
Yes for consumers it’s nice to not have to pay for stuff. But if Peacock can’t make money they go away and awesome shows get lost forever.
There are more new original shows now in a week then we saw in 3 years back in the day. I for one hope these services keep expanding so more of these shows get made.
Hey guys, really sorry about this: Wrong file got uploaded this morning and I had to do a quick-and-dirty edit to get today's episode up. Correct file is up now! Apologies again.
Does my YouTube TV subscription get me partial credit for cord cutting? 🤔
Do you guys ever provide a transcript of your talks?
There’s an auto-generated transcript on the webpage, but it’s of pretty limited use since it doesn’t really label who is saying what: https://plus.thebulwark.com/p/does-the-beekeper-have-audiences?r=1io40&utm_medium=ios&utm_campaign=post
Thanks.
Yet another movie I hadn't planned to see but for your review. *sigh* You're compelling me to quickly run through my movie-going budget.
Great critique and episode. I could expound… but you (Sonny, Alyssa, Peter) do not have time for that.
We always have time for that!
Sonny really sold me this movie when he said the Gen X God will be beating up the Gen Z's.

Reliving your collective despair over those tiktock Soprano digests was worth the repeat.

This is the "American Fiction" episode.
Yeah, thanks; got sent the wrong file this morning. Will update ASAP.
