Let's lay some blame on the public. Their taste is narrow, they don't see new material and yet complain about re-dos of known work. They avoid indie and foreign films and dread subtitles. Even now smaller unknown films are in theaters but people don't show up.
And as we come out of Covid we see pent-up travel demand sucking the money from everywhere else.
Otherwise good show, long show (Somebody was going to use a JVL -ism :))
I wonder if your guests friend is a Marcus?.....

Fantastic episode. An hour long, but I easily could've listened to Sonny and David talk about this stuff for another 2 hours.
Thanks! I did not know that feed existed. I've subscribed to it now. Thanks Sonny
How do I listen to this from my podcast app. I don’t see it in the main bulwark feed
Here is the Apple link; I’m not entirely sure how the main Bulwark feed works, but I’ll see if there’s an issue. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-bulwark-goes-to-hollywood/id1526477480?i=1000658269016
