The assassination attempt on Trump has completed the memory-holing of Trump's incompetence (e.g., his handling of Covid) and criminality (e.g., his central role in the phony state electoral college slates that were intended to subvert the lawful transfer of power to Joe Biden after the 2020 election and Trump's total dereliction of duty as Commander-in-Chief on January 6th as he watched gleefully for hours as the Capitol was attacked). The fact that Trump likely will again be elected president in November is the real "American Carnage" because it demonstrates that a huge swath of Americans care more about culture wars and the price of eggs and gas than about putting an incompetent criminal back in the White House.
It’s pretty clear that the Dems are the party of Law and believe that Order will naturally follow so long as the Law is just and fairly applied. Republicans care only about Order as defined by their patriarch while the Law is merely a tool to be wielded in furtherance of achieving and enforcing that Order.
Every time I think I have the Biden mess figured out the facts change. This time it’s Pelosi and her protege Schiff turning up the heat. Pelosi doesn’t make mistakes: she must have word that Harris is willing to run to help down ticket races. Not that she’ll win—betting markets have her losing to Trump 80/20 as opposed to Biden’s 90/10—but she could motivate voters (including yours truly) who at this point feel a visceral disgust with Biden. Imagine a Harris/Buttigieg ticket. Winners? Unlikely. But all around good eggs? For sure. Whatever else, they project fundamental decency, and it would be a positive pleasure to vote for them. Please dear God let it happen, I would so love to eat my most pessimistic words.
Basicly the position is that white collar crimes are persecutions and blue collar crimes are prosecutions. But that is white collar is with the regime otherwise against Biden and Hunter it's of course legitimate
