This is the budget problem in a nutshell! It's a low-nine-figure movie, meaning it needs to gross around $400M worldwide to approach break even ... but that's very hard to do if American audiences are willing to wait for it to come to VOD and the Chinese box office is mostly closed off.
Theater was empty in my screening, maybe 12 people total. However, my favorite of the summer so far. Thoroughly enjoyed the "Fast Food" Disney touches. Not going to alter someone's life but this is the perfect, perfect popcorn flick for summer.

I have to admit I am waiting to buy my tickets until I can see how full the theater is.

Yeah it’s fun! Not going to change the world, but it’s a decent time at the theater.
