If a candidate were to actually level with the American people about all the hard choices we face, that candidate would never win. So I think it is actually better if a candidate runs on values and critical thinking as opposed to specific policies. And that is what Harris and Walz are doing now.
As far as this specific instance, I think the most important thing is that Harris beats Trump. Everything, EVERYTHING, else is a sideshow. So let's keep the most important thing as the most important thing.
