I am so on board with this! What you are saying is absolutely correct regarding our actions, our patience, and our strategy. I decided after 2016 that to my dying day I will fight like hell to defeat this regime any way I can. Yep, even in 2017 I was sounding alarm bells about being on the road to a fascist regime and everyone thought I was crazy. I innocently thought we were in the clear after 2020. Who would have known this many would sell their soul - and for what??? Ultimately, for those who haven't experienced the ETTD phenom yet, they too will have an agonizing and embarrassing political fall from grace that they will never live down (here's looking at you Lindsay Graham). For now, here we are in high gear to full fascist mode with serious eugenics being hinted at and rights being stripped from people without due process.
I am going to print this post and carry it with me for encouragement; and share with everyone I know! Also, a link to information on the general strike - they figure they need 3.5% of the population - 11 million - committed dissidents to make it work. https://generalstrikeus.com
‘The basis of eugenics’: Elon Musk and the menacing return of the R-word
AOC thinks it's perfectly OK to tell people she disagrees with on Twitter to "die mad about it." I don't want her as a leader of anything, she's too childish.

JVL - Just so you know, this column is being shared widely on Facebook right now. People are grasping on to it like a sliver of wood from the hull of a sinking ship. People saying "wait, I couldn't share it (because of this or that) and then Whew!, I just copied and pasted it. People saying "I haven't subscribed yet" and "I've gotta subscribe" and "The Bulwark? Who is that?" But there is more buzz than I've ever seen about an article, and regretfully I am not the one who started all of this buzz. I read the article last week and I have shared thoughts from it, but people are now sharing it in whole, as a blueprint. Thank you for thinking so clearly and for helping us all get on the same page. And as sobering as Friday was with Kristol, thank you for that too.
Yes! We need to follow the Power to the People strategies from the 1960s, but for current times. I attended one of the Tesla Takedown protests yesterday in Owings Mills, Maryland. Over 200 of these happened at Tesla showrooms and charging stations all over the country with more happening overseas. It was a beautiful thing. About 700 people showed up with their signs. But the best was the response of the people driving by. Lots and lots of honking in solidarity, thumbs up, fist pumping, and flipping the bird at Tesla. Apparently these protests which happen every Saturday, have been doubling in size each week. Next Saturday, on April 5th, I'll be in D.C. at the largest of the more than 400 Hands Off (hands off our government, SS, Medicare, veterans, USAID, etc. etc.) protest marches happening around the country. I hope we can get 100,000 people protesting in D.C. that day. The Bulwark can do it's part by promoting these protest marches on your various shows. It's going to take millions getting out, into the streets, chanting, waving signs, and demanding that the government work for the people. We will take our country back! Yes! Yes! Please don't exclude the November 2025 elections in Virginia and NJ. And people need to have their backpack, flags, and sign material ready to hit the streets.
AOC and Bernie and Chris and my Michigan girls, The Three Witches and Elissa Slotkin and Traverse City transplant Pete, will lead us in solidarity through this mess of an Infinity War. There is no Endgame without the prequel. Remember, Trump has dropped a load of shit at each of our doorsteps. The only way out is through and the only way through is together. Peace.
Hmmm. I adopted the mantra "sometimes the only way out is through" in response to a story about the San Diego Country wildfires in 2003. Wall of flames, zero visibility, on a dirt road on a mountain in a truck. She went forward. Thanks to you I now know the other half of that mantra "...and the only way through is together." Thank you for that.
You have motivated me to the max—I have forwarded this article to 20 people and told them to forward. I’ve been waiting for this. So many of us have. Let’s brainstorm America. I’m ready in Michigan.
I’ll be attending a rally in Philly on 4/5. So far, over 350,000 have registered, and it’s still days away!!!

I’m not sure if I’ve ever seen Mehdi Hasan share a Bulwark article, but he shared this one today on Bluesky!

So glad to hear you in total support of AOC.
