A sure fire formula for turning the US into a third world country, as if everything my political bookclub is reading in Project 2025. We are currently reading The Department of Agriculture. While it is hard to slog through these chapters sometimes, we are learning a lot about the government, and every Trump grievance against, Biden, Obama and Roosevelt is woven in. Dads get a bad deal in the Chapt on the Dept of Health and Human Services, as does everyone else. Dads who are divorced or not married to their children's mom will get an app on their phone and will have to make their payments through that. Can easily lose legal rights to their children if they don't pay and don't play with their kids. Also, have to take parenting classes. I assume a Christian Nationalist agenda will be pushed. However, in every chapter getting rid of immigrants and forcing Americans to do jobs that immigrants have done that no one here wants to do is part of the plan. How is that freedom? As for the big deportation plans. If we list all the groups Trump wants to deport or put in prison that sounds like more than half of the US population altogether. How is that making our country strong? 50 mil immigrants, which will probably include my mom and husband who both came from Germany. Even though my husband is a world expert in his field, who cares because even though they talk about attracting high quality immigrants (which they do not define what that is, I guess Viktor Orban and the Norwegians), they want to get rid of so many they have to start taking all of them. Then, everyone who antagonized or voted against Trump goes to prison too, and that will be a goodly portion of the adult population too. So, who will be left. The above list of cretins.
A friend who left the US after Trump got elected told me in her state people she worked with had told her about January 6, that there was going to be some action, and she was worried she would be shot. She went to the EU.
