I was, at the beginning, a huge fan of The Lincoln Project. I unabashedly like snark. So I gave them money. And then the constant appeals for more just kept rolling in. And then I saw the compensation the founders were reaping. And I realized then (because I am just not that bright, I guess) that all this amounted to a grift---just one that supported the goal of getting Trump out of office. I dislike grift more (a LOT more) than I like snark. I am done with these folks.
The Lincoln project is the most disgusting of all political action organizations. Snark is fine, but it wasn't what you purchased. You supported the worst type of immorality and vile dirty political activities that benefit Democrats. The Democrats already have plenty of immoral, vile dirty political activities supporting them.
Somehow I doubt you were incensed by the LP members when they were batting for your team. Like when Rick Wilson trashed triple-amputee and Vietnam War vet Max Cleland to replace him with a dishrag like Saxby Chambliss.
Same here, on the basis that 'the enemy of my enemy' and all that. But after the story about John Weaver broke, then the stories of how much the 'founders' were skimming, the public and humiliating ouster of Jennifer Horn, followed by Steve Schmidt's public meltdown.... holy crap! I was done with them.
I have never been on board with the Lincoln project. They resort to behaviors that one might find in a Trump cult, and sometimes I couldn't tell the difference. Their words and actions are ugly and coarse, and sometimes vulgar. I detest them, And I detest Trump and all of his enablers as well
This is kind of why grifts on the Democratic side fizzle out. It's not a cult, and people catch on. That's why the stars of the moment like Michael Avenatti never really had a chance to leverage their short-lived celebrity status to get anywhere else.

…said Willie Horton.
What a pathetic comment. How silly and how childish.
And you think comments like this are useful and impressive? What a sad little white woke supremasist you are.

Was this really a grift on the Democrat side or was it grift aimed at people who were not Democrats but who couldn't stomach what the GoP became?
