I think this was a huge deal. Pro Anti Vaxxers are not attacking the vaccines because their attacks are obvious value signals, not defenses of freedom and government overreach. It's merely a facade used by lazy congresspeople that would rather use social media to engage with their constituents in lieu of intimate encounters because they lack personality. Pro Anti Vaxxers are attacking (to completely and wholeheartedly bite Jonathan Rauch and the Constitution of Knowledge) Epistemic Knowledge. They are attacking the very way we curate knowledge and how we arrive at what is true and what is not so true. In so doing, Big Bird and S. Street are indirect targets of the forces they unleash. Big Bird is the avatar of everybody's birth into the world of Epistemic Knowledge. At least for the 50-year-old white guy with no college degree. Yes, Big Bird could be argued as an institution of our government. But it is OUR government, Ted. "Let Freedom Ring" was a slogan for everybody as a whole of society. And that society chooses a representative government over tyranny and authoritarianism. They didn't sing "Let Freedom Ring" because they were thinking of your individual rights to smoke cigarettes, burn coal, and spread disease. #Imwiththebird.
A.) it's been two months since we did a Marvel episode (that was SHANG-CHI; we skipped VENOM) and B.) the movie is very clearly the biggest thing to talk about this week. Also, C.) it's just interesting that the woman who won best director last year has a Marvel movie out.
I mean ... I don't think that counts as an "MCU" episode, but whatever. Point is: It's not really our fault that Marvel is the biggest thing in entertainment!

Yeah, this isn't aimed directly at the kids, it's so their parents can show it to their kids if the kids are scared.
Elmo says, todays episode of ATMI is sponsored by the letter 'Q'
so psyched for more back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back shows dedicated to MCU...

A) Copyright termination episode (28 September) was an MCU episode
B) Thank you for leading with Big Bird over MCU today - Twitter silly beats MCU self-seriousness any day.
C) The show is great, can't wait for Alyssa to return.

Big shock, I liked the Eternals
