Didn't get to listen to the podcast yet, but this week select theaters showed "Alien" in honor of its 45th anniversary. As a bonus, the movie opened with Fede Alvarez briefly discussing the movie with Ridley Scott. I went with my son, who had never seen "Alien" on the big screen. What a treat (muted color notwithstanding)!
Paramount shareholder sounding off - I recently bought shares because he is in this mix.
Although, full disclosure, I have much lower stake than the owns that are upset. Still, long term I think the combination of him over Paramount and Zucker over CBS would be better than Apollo.
Plus, I think the Skydance Media relationship with Apple could be beneficial to both. Apple has been offering studio produced movies as part of their subscription tier. I imagine that a bundle with Paramount+ could help them both.
Anyway, commenting during my kids Saturday gym class. You know, as one does. I will listen later when I walk the dog. Again, as one does.
