Please, God, please make "My Pillow" guy, Mike Lindell, RNC Chair!

Mitch, Mitch, Mitch — you’re taking this tortoise analogy way too seriously, bro. Be careful, next thing you know (in the next month or so) you’ll be saying there’s no place for racism in the Republican party (just saying white supremacy cuts close but not to the bone of the matter, Mitch).

The Catholic can't accept the fact that it pretty much ruled the known world for 500 years.

I note, however, that Mr. McConnell didn't say he wouldn't support such a person if they were nominated.

PER BRIT HUME:

"Here's a thought. Let's base our view on whether 1/6 was an "insurrection" on whether those arrested are charged with insurrection. So far, none has been. "

Would the equivalent be:

"Here's a thought. Let's base our view on whether the robber of the bank, who also set fire to the files was arrested and charged with arson as well as grand robbery. So far, it hasn't been done...just grand theft."

The most important facet of the seditious conspiracy verdict, for me, is that it came from a jury, not pundits. The people spoke. The courts and the Republican party should take note.

Re Mitch McConnell: Evidently he is aging into signicant memory issues. Dementia? Minority-leader-frustration syndrome?

EXTREMELY IMPORTANT!!! Trial by jury of peers.

OK...so I'm constantly posting about how Fox news "reports" this stuff and so here it is....

Believe it or not...the Paul Pelosi attack news/article was found as a Hot Topic on their home page for an ENTIRE MONTH. The facts of the story rarely changed and what they focused in upon was that NBC news removed a reporter because he started going down the conspiracy rabbit hole (i.e. it was a midnight visit from Paul's lover, etc.)...or at least he started questioning the facts of the story. This was magnet for Fox viewers and jumping onboard something nefarious about NBC, MSM, San Francisco and the Pelosi's!

So...now we have the Seditious Conspiracy convictions. Fox has yet to even report the story! If you search their site for this story...it comes up with an 8 day old article about the trial. Since that article, Fox has not updated it at all or even reported that there was a verdict rendered. LOL...it certainly can't be a Hot Topic either if it's not even an article!

Clear evidence of the severe manipulation and curation Fox does of its "news".

So they haven't got the conspiracy angle nailed down yet.

Spot on! I'm sure they're scrambling to post another Hunter Biden article as well....

Just rearrange the words and send it back out there with no additional facts.

Mitch McCon doing what he does best - showing fake courage while expecting the voters and the courts to take Trump out. Note that McCon stated that it is highly unlikely that Trump would be elected President after this infamous dinner, NOT that HE would not endorse or support T for re-election or that Trump is a blot on the Republican party and should never be allowed to serve again.

“Highly unlikely”. Damn, Mitch, that’s some powerful leadership language there.

With men like you, it’s no wonder how Kentucky became the economic powerhouse and global destination it is.

IIRC every lawyer I heard on a podcast (limited sample, I know) was skeptical that the most serious charge (seditious conspiracy) would stick, because 1. there's limited precedent that would clarify what it means, or what the threshold is; 2, because conspiracies are inherently hard to prove. Yet here we are. An indictment of Roger Stone now makes sense.

Btw, this is quite a heartbreaking article: Rhodes was a damaged person (possibly bipolar), but very damaging as well: https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-63709446

I am beyond grateful that the insurrectionists are finally being charged for their crimes. Just grateful and relieved. I hope the January 6 Committee slams the rest of the creeps, including those at the top. The top of the turd pile. That was no tourist visit and to think that members of congress described it as such disgusts me beyond belief.

My daily feed from Windows (I think!) has a story from Fox on Biden being called a liar by some oil company execs for something or other - oh, the horror! Another feed, not from Fox, has Herschel admitting he lives in Texas - how is this man even on the Georgia ballot?
