I think one of yesterday's biggest stories was missed. The President of the Teamsters spoke in favor of Trump at the convention. Biden actively joined a strike last year. Seriously, why the hell should any Democrat lift a finger for anyone, when this is the thanks they get.

I hope the Teamsters enjoy telling each other N-word jokes and comparing their firearns while their pay and work conditions are destroyed by the GOP.

With friends like these...

Mike...this is in the rearview mirror. Yeah, provocative move, but this country is in so much more trouble. Friends come and go.

Nobody has ever accused the Teamsters of being an honest, pure, crime free union. A rogue union is closer to the truth.

The only President to ever walk a picket line, and the Teamster gives a high profile speech in favor of his opponent. Message sent. Since organized abor doesn't have the Democrats back, the Democrats should stop wasting their energy.

Yes, but Biden's still looking like a loser. O'Brien may be just hedging his bets, like corporations do. Also, long haul truckers listen to Right Wing radio, stuff like "Red Eye Radio" out of Dallas and broadcast nationally. They may be a force in the rank-and-file that must be appeased.

From my observations, long haul trucking is being taken over by non-white and women. Two local truck stops in my county are Indian restaurants.

Come to think of it, I've seen that too.

I get what you're saying, but it still feels like a betrayal of a guy who really stuck his neck out for him. With "allies" like this, the Democrats' problems are bigger than the identity of the presidential candidate.

I agree that it sucks.
