In spite of your wrong take on student loans, I thank the maker that you're in charge of this program, Tim! Just so smart, and so (as far as you honestly admit) complete.

A little disappointed at the non-reaction to Rep Crockett’s last comment. Tim could have pointed out that Bulwark podcasts addressed the tragedies in TX amd Fl amd JVL’s column on it was excellent. However if other news and chatter wasn’t giving it enough attention then again shame on us all.

Excellent interview with Jasmine Crockett, Tim. She’s a very intelligent, articulate and attractive advocate for democratic principles and the Biden administration. Hopefully they will use her during the presidential campaign to expose the blatant hypocrisy in today’s GOP and its disgraceful nominee, Donald Trump.

Oh no and I got derailed and am just now listening to this episode - Friday - Rep Crockett went to the trial?!? If I try to articulate what it is about that fact (her attending the trial) that is so deeply endearing, it’s I think because it’s the thing you do to try to make sense of the times, of the power holders and the institutions meant to curtail them, like it’s a real site in which these battles are simultaneously being waged, and even tho it’s sort of bizarre and theatric and trump and his congressional allies are bloviating Ghouls, like it’s still a place where some definition of justice and truth is being adjudicated. It’s interesting too that the republican congressional caravan of ventriloquist situationists were so eager to jump in front of cameras and mistrial their hero out of his predicament, but I had no idea the Rep Crockett attended; I guess civility isn’t as newsworthy. So so impressed with the next generation of leaders, with Crockett, with folks like Raskin, AOC, Pressley, Omar, Warren (Elizabeth) and so on. I know Warren and Raskin are a bit older, but you know what I mean. My bff is an expat living abroad in Europe and whenever we talk I find myself arguing for the sake of a future America, for hope in some power to shape it into a better place then the one it is now, and Rep Crockett offers a multitude of examples of that point. Way to book great guests! High five!

How about a Bloviating Baroness of Batshittery?

Belligerent, bloated, big-mouthed, bonkers bigoted bottle blonde boob .

That took me like 7 minutes to do, how Rep Crockett could just on the spot make a run of 6 is pure art.

In the current dysfunctional House, thanks to MTG and Boebert, Rep. Crockett’s response is both helpful and hysterical. She is smart, strong, and effective. Dems need more of her, not less.

Jasmine Crockett was a great guest. Loved her insight into the reality show called the House of Representatives. She and all the sane people on the Oversight Committee have my thanks for enduring this shit show and fighting back.

"Emigrate" is not a British-specific spelling for, "immigrate." When someone moves from Country A to Country B, the choice of the two words depends on the perspective. Someone in Country A would call it, "emigration," while In Country B it's immigration.

Now that Abbott has pardoned a convicted murderer, what does he do if Biden is reelected, propose secession?

Emotional Support Republicans! For their next trick will they serenade TFG with Memories in their matching MAGAranimals as he’s leaving the courthouse?

Tim, your inner GOP is showing. It took me 20 years at 8.45% interest to repay my student loans for a State college. I'm very happy that people with student loans are getting help.

That kind of things needs to ne picked up more. Loan forgiveness was and is about making sure people don’t pay 3x their tuition costs. Student loans are scam-riddened and most leniency rules about loans don’t apply - no breaks at all.

I don't normally mock people for their looks but in the case of Large Marge I'll make an exception. This is someone who fell off the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down.
