And all the while he skips out on any serious, hard news (with little enough of that anyway) event that he can't control.

Okay, short time, but avid fan. I have a suggestion. What if members of Bulwark volunteered at some point for phone banking and taped it? NO ONE is better qualified to share Harris’ story with swing voters. It also puts viewers’ attention on the world we DO want. The Bulwark’s influence is powerful. What about using it to support the people who are doing good, rather than focusing on the things that horrify all of us? You could inspire listeners to take action, rather despairing, to echo Joan Baez’s words.
My son recommended The BULWARK to me. This lifelong Democrat, long-time elections worker, 86 year-old remembers too well the unrest and concern of my parents and their generation during and after World War II. I have studied European and world history. We must not allow descent into the madness of Fascism and/or of religious extremism. I am desperate for a community of like-minded Americans as we face this perilous election and the turmoil of the months that undoubtedly lie ahead no matter which side wins.
