In the mid 1970's, the Doobie brothers put out an album named "Once were Vices are now Habits". That is so appropriate to today's Trumpified MAGA party. They once stood for certain standards; free market, small government, you are responsible for your own actions. That has totally turned around.

Since this thread talks about nit-picking I have to call out that the Doobie Brothers album was in fact called “What Were Once Vices Are Now Habits”.

I still have it, plus a couple of others from their pre Michael McDonald days. Ah, the happy memories of youth!
Were the Dooblies better with M M or before.I like them before. Black Water one of the all time greats.
In my opinion, they were better before. After MM joined they went more pop/funk, not my cup of tea. Black Water was one of their best.
He is not my cup of tea either.
