Like many odds and ends, if you’re lucky enough to still have one of the right beanies in excellent condition - you can maybe sell it for enough to take your partner to a few nice steakhouse dinners. Far from a wise investment strategy, but just as with antique furniture you can be lucky enough to make a few dollars here and there.

I have a box full of coins (mostly Morgan silver dollars, but a few gold coins) that is worth a bit, but mostly the value tracks the bullion value of the base metal
