I love Paul Giamatti (especially in Sideways). He managed to make me empathize with, almost like, Chuck Rhodes in the first season or two of Billions, long before Chuck got his redemption arc.
Gerweck.net reported, "FOX dropped WWE Smackdown because high level advertisers were not interested in buying ad space on wrestling shows due to low income and education levels among the viewership." I get that it's a good business decision, but requiring WWE fans to buy a $7.99 streaming service sticks in my craw. I wholeheartedly agree with Rep. Pat Ryan that airing Thursday Night Football exclusively on Amazon Prime is an antitrust violation. The NFL should be penalized accordingly. And while we're at it, sequestering new Star Trek shows on a streaming platform is downright un-American.
Netflix is evolving to be more like a cable TV channel and based on recent reporting that suggests an executive there is preparing subscribers for more price hikes this year, it may be time to tap out.
There isn't a lot of stuff that that is quality. Most of the library shows and movies they have I already have access via other services and physical media that I own (and still collect).
Exactly. Every move that Netflix has made recently has made me like them less; adding pro wrestling is just continuing that trend. My father is currently using my account; when he finally passes I'll probably just cancel it. Between PBS Passport, Curiosity Stream, the Criterion Channel, Kanopy, and my Blu-ray collection I already have more content to watch than I have time for (especially since I also still go out to the theaters!)
Barbie was best picture, no doubt about it. Fun, smart, made a billion dollars. Singing and dancing. This is what movie dreams are made of.
Oppenheimer was good but had obvious weaknesses (corny dialogue).
Flower Moon: too long, let's face it. Yes that's enough to disqualify from Best Pic.

All references to mineshaft gaps are to be commended.
it's the most dangerous of the gaps
As long as you don't let anyone see the Big Board, all is well.
Whether it was the best decision ever is totally dependent on whether you care about WWE, which I don’t
Well, I mean, I’m thinking in terms of broad strategy. I don’t watch wrestling either, but LOTS of people do.

That be very true.
