But we also have a responsibility to field a) someone who can do the job for the full term (I think the chances that Joe can are very low) and b) someone who can beat Trump (today, not in the past). I 1000% "vote blue no matter who," but part of what defines decent people is trying to make good choices, even when it's really hard. IF he's the candidate, I will work like hell to elect him. But first we need to determine whether he SHOULD be that candidate. Realism =/= bedwetting.
