One of the baseline questions a mental health professional asks a patient is, "Are you having homicidal, suicidal, or suspicious thoughts ?" Someone with Trump's cluster of personality disorders has those thoughts ALL THE TIME. He thinks about hurting/killing other people, buildings burning, etc. Kristol's little tongue-in-cheek exercise fails to capture the malevolence of someone with such a pathology, which is essentially untreatable. Trump is not the cloddish boor in Kristol's story but is instead a profoundly evil man. If the voters return him to power, there will be blood.
I agree that DT is a profoundly evil man. He has been a bully all his life and has never facedJustice. He and his allies offer power to those who vote for him. Fear of his revenge is for those who don’t. In addition, very wealthy people, who should fear another Trump presidency, are more afraid of Biden’s calls to raise taxes. How can all of these people believe Trump will give them power when he wants it all for himself?
As someone who has done a lot of study into neuroscience, I tend not to believe in evil and I consider Trump to be damaged rather than evil. However, I think you're right that Bill Kristol did not capture Trump's thinking - it is certainly not that coherent. I also agree that, if elected, he won't be held back from seeing violence done. Even if he loses, I think that will likely happen as he encourages his followers that he has been cheated once again and they need to enact his revenge upon his enemies.
Very much agree that there will be violence. Not quite sure when, where or how, but Trump is too much in love with this and people will be ready to make him happy.

Kristol makes trump sound like Kristol, and I don't like Kristol. We know exactly how trump's thinking sounds— read Bryan Fichter's comment.👆👆👆👆👆
Trump's pathology seems to have leaked into his MAGA base, like covid from a bat into a meat market.
