I find some of the "panicking"/statements purely performative.
Susan Collins remains "concerned" (of course) and several R Congressional Reps and Senators have made statements and then turned around and done the bidding of FOTUS.
It's like folks who do parlor magic tricks who share "look at the hands (what they do) and ignore the patter (what they say)".
And the "overwhelming mandate is a pile of steaming equine biosolids.
But they ALL parrot the party line - every single one of them.
