So, just start the transition and dare these couch potato badasses to start a civil war. The worry last time was that Trump had the power of the presidency. He was never going to win a case. Biden has that power now, and the Supreme Court has increased it.

I think, generally, daring people with guns to start something isn't a good idea.

And the Supreme Court gave Biden the power to commit any bribery, unlawful order crime he wanted--not to actually do any governing things he wants.

Yes, but IтАЩm talking about the absolute extreme situation in which the ejection actually is stolen. If that happens, the US really isnтАЩt a thing anymore, and civil war type action is required.

I donтАЩt think itтАЩs going there. I think Harris will win, and these dopes will lose in court, or Trump will win. The latter is horrifying, but if it happens, it happens. If somehow this goes to the House or SCOTUS gives it to Trump for no reason, there can be no recognition or tolerance of that.

Exactly. Biden is never running for office again and until January, he's immune. My son said it has to be in part of his official actions. I say he can do what he wants and they can take him to court. It should take several years to litigate it.

Exactly-- official like making sure our law enforcement agencies are on PROACTIVE alert for terrorism --domestic or foreign or election interference. :)

As I read this article the same idea was rolling around in my head.

And same thing if it somehow gets thrown to the House (I think theyтАЩll lose cases before that, tbh). No recognizing that. No tolerating that.

Yes, that's what I want to see - Dem lawyers strategizing NOW to respond to Trump Party plans.

That's why Dems *must* take the House and elect Hakeem Jeffries as Speaker.

Vote Blue all the way down the ballot!

Biden DID NOT vote for Thomas for the Supreme Court. He voted against him. Please check your facts better!

Thank you for the fact check. I certainly remember Biden grilling Anita Hill, but not his vote.

Biden had announced his opposition to Thomas before the Anita Hill allegations were made public (against her expressed wishes as I recall). As I remember, the allegation was leaked by one of Senator SimonтАЩs aides.

Then SCOTUS might come up with a precedent that weakens it. Biden should wait on it, then spring it with overwhelming force if they really do succeed in stealing the election.

What if Roberts refuses to participate in the swearing in? What would happen in that scenario? Anyone know?

Legally, I have no idea. The country would unravel, though. Secession and maybe civil war.

You're absolutely right. Trump does not hesitate to break the law, so he needs to be treated differently than a normal candidate.
