Clearly, Disney made a pile of money on the streaming. The contract was for her to get a cut on the "initial" release, and she's not. Maybe the "letter of the law" is that she didn't specify that it could be released on streaming from the get go, but the expectation (as stated by the Disney lawyer) was that it wouldn't be straight to video.
Your position that SJ should just take her money and go away and allow Disney to pocket a whole pile of money that they should have been paying her is ridiculous.
Honestly, I’d LOVE for Disney to get killed here as punishment for violating the theatrical window just on general principle. I’m merely skeptical it’ll happen for all the reasons laid out.
