So, I am one of the unfortunates in Jim Jordan's district...BAH..I am considering registering Republican just to contribute to stopping him...I would be very happy if they removed this district myself...
I live in Nebraska where there is a movement to get rural county governments to pass "gun sanctuary" resolutions. I plan to testify against this resolution in my county. So I'm looking to The Bulwark community to help me sharpen my arguments.
I love that there is a comment section now. The people here at The Bulwark may never read them but I appreciate the opportunity to have a space to comment on things I read here.
The Bulwark is going to have a comments section now? I am not sure that's a good idea, depending on how much time you want to spend making very clear rules (for yourselves, mostly)on how it will be monitored, and then committing to spending time doing the monitoring.
I recently made the decision to no longer engage in the comments section of the Dispatch because I was so distressed by some of the regular commenters whose comments can only be described as bullying. These commenters have been regulars on that comment board for many, many months, with many, many posts of that type. This has led me to think that either the Dispatch doesn't do much monitoring of its comments section or it doesn't consider these posts to be offensive (I really hope the latter is not the case.)
Oh, and that Chris Krebs meme cracked me up...lol

Speaking of culture war items. . .

Ok, I don't get the swipe at "progs" above. Prop 47 passed 60-40, Surely that's a lot more than just progressive voters.
Sounds about right. San Francisco is at least 60-40 progressive. There's a veto-proof supermajority of progressives on the Board of Supervisors

Poor Rand Paul and all those who will get sick and die because they listen to idiots like him and TFG.
Excellent idea to add the comment option.

That's awesome Angie and I can look for you too.
