Being a movie critic must be such a terrible experience. Going into every movie and having the expectation that the meaning of life must be examined or some deep aspect of your soul has to be explored to be satisfied must be exhausting. Sometimes you just show up to a movie, jam some popcorn and candy into your mouth, wash it down with some soda and escape for 2-2.5 hours of entertainment. Nothing more! Some movies I can see expecting some deep, profound experience -- although, as an adult walking into SM NWH I did not expect that and can live my life knowing the 2.5 hours spent was worth the $20.
