You should look up the guy who owns the private equity firm that revitalized B&N. (I long ago decided to not let these things micromanage my day to day life.)

I do know about him but also about the benefits their stores have brought to many, not all, neighborhoods. Again, they are not injuring the publishing industry. Hopefully, it will remain a positive source for books.

Totally agree, but too many places have no bookstores other than B&N. Of course, if there is an Independent it should be the first choice. But, back to my initial ask of The Bulwark, help echo my message that they not link to Amazon.

Important protests on 2/28.

Better yet try a local bookstore. Most can order anything you want

I love B&N. I love the stores. I buy a lot there. But I also buy from Amazon, especially when I want a book that’s 10-20 years old.

For older books try Abe Books, Better World Books, Alibris, etc. and if it older cookbooks you are looking for check out those available at Bonnie Slotnick’s.
