I try to debate/discuss with people who are civil to me, even if I disagree with them personally. Boone hasn't insulted me, so I am okay trying to throw together a response.
Will I be persuasive? I'm not getting my hopes up.
Where Boone gets me is that I don't think he believes everything he's saying. Maybe he does. But I can't really believe he thinks the 2020 election was stolen by "George Soros bots of collectivism." For me, someone throwing stuff out in a discussion they don't actually believe is too bad faith to engage with. But yes, he is generally (not always) fairly civil, though he employs "LOL" a bit much for my taste. Best of luck to you.
I have no idea. In my personal life I have encountered a staggering number of people who sincerely believe this stuff and would benefit from exposure or a non-biased source discussing it with them.
But of course, it's hard to read minds, and I'm not great at it. I just try to respond to people in good faith until they come at me with bad faith.
