Wonder if Apple, Netflix, etc would ever consider a theatrical release for their original movies. I don’t know how that would work, but it’s much more of an experience going to a theater than turning on your tv.
I finally cut the cord in January, after football season ended. I find that I actually PREFER just waiting until a whole season of a show has dropped and then streaming it all together. No commercials, no worrying about recording and fast forwarding. It's easier to remember the plots on shows with a season long arc. Finish one, start another. Cancel one service and subscribe to another. And it is so much cheaper than my cable bundle. I don't need the Hallmark Channel, AMC, and all those others that show reruns of 50 year old shows because you can just stream those too (which again, BETTER.) But now it's football season again. Subscribed to Sling which I will cancel in January. The only downside is I missed baseball season. I'm in Atlanta an they're on Bally. The only way to get the channel is with a cable or streaming package that costs $100 a month. I'm not paying that much just to watch baseball!
There's one little talked about Amazon Fire Stick built in advantage and it's babies subscribing to a bunch of channels by spamming the select button. We're up to four.
If the Editorial staff pickets the Washington Post to endorse Harris, that alone would make more of a statement than if the Post came out with an endorsement of her.

Well, Apple's done more than a couple: KILLERS OF THE FLOWER MOON, NAPOLEON, etc. The results haven't been great!
