Watched this last night and have never been a Paul Giamatti fan but this film is wonderful. Giamatti, Randolph and Sessa are great in it. Touching story which reminded me of a mash up of the Anti-Mr Chips and Scent of a woman without the high stakes suicide element. Two outsiders bond and help each other to be better people.
Very human, touching and funny. Thoughtfully written, directed and played. Glad I saw it!
Watched this movie yesterday. Really enjoyed it. At times laugh out loud funny; at other times sad and touching 😢. Paul Giamatti is terrific, as always.
It also has not dropped on Apple podcasts.
I'm a complete idiot, I sent this out as a newsletter instead of a podcast. Here's the actual episode: https://plus.thebulwark.com/p/the-holdovers-a-very-nice-movie-09b
Watched the film on Sunday, thought it was great. Wonderful performances.
Sorry...how do I actually listen to the podcast? There doesn't seem to be a link here.
Sorry, I'm a dunce: I sent this out as a newsletter instead of a podcast. Here's the actual episode: https://plus.thebulwark.com/p/the-holdovers-a-very-nice-movie-09b
