I have a different idea about the dynamics at the end. Igor showed concern for Ani (when he could) while he was also engaged in doing his job. The other men looking for Vanya were losing their minds and humanity to varying degrees working for the bosses. Igor appreciated her spunk and got the ring not as an inducement for sex but in solidarity with working folks who get spat on by the wealthy condescending elite.. Ani’s first response to the gift may have been transactional, but it seemed something changed. I want to see that scene again because when he reached up to kiss her, she freaked out, then relented leading to the most mutually authentic sex of the whole movie.

I mean, I feel like the celebrity conversation kinda comes down to the fact that celebrities aren’t mysterious anymore. Like, we know everything about them. They are just another person on social media spouting off.

The exception being the far right because it seems they are made that they got the C-list ones and the C-list ones are mad that they aren’t A-list.

Well, your review of "Anora" made we want to see a movie that I'd previously decided wasn't worth my time, so there's that. But the unannounced spoilers (even if the first was inadvertent) sucked. This isn't a live show; the fact that it contained spoilers could have been added before the review. Still planning on seeing the movie, though.

I'm sorry, I say this all the time, but we're discussing the film after its release (rather than before its release) precisely because we're trying to have a real discussion about it. You should probably presume some talk about what happens in the film most weeks.
