I loved this discussion. Thanks for covering a smaller film. Fwiw, I thought both of Nora’s relationships were purposefully somewhat passionless. I think it communicates something very real about choices and being an adult... and it was heartbreaking.
I would really enjoy if you made transcripts of all the podcasts. I am interested in what you think about these (and other) films. But I really have no desire to listen to you talk about them.
The first half of the show was very funny. "Do they know how the internet works?" (or there abouts) was a hilarious line! Also, the guy is never getting out from being Darth Vader this year so he should just embrace it and move on.
The movie definitely sounds good too. I may check it out!
I am looking forward to listening but I already think it's hilarious that--assuming the scheduling conflict was deliberate--WB thinks that the head-to-head for Barbie is with Oppenheimer and not Mission Impossible.
I am driving to Indianapolis from Cincinnati to see Oppenheimer at the State Museum because it's one of only 30 theaters in the world where you can see it in its full 70 mm IMAX glory. I am a massive shareholder of Nolan stock and know it will be worth the 2 hour drive.
Yeah, my local Cinemark just happens to be one of the 30 theaters in the world that has the 70mm IMAX, so I'm looking forward to seeing it (again) there. (The press screening is in 70mm, but not IMAX.)

Reviews of movies for adults....Yes! Please!

I have more interest in seeing Oppy first, then Barbie, and MI not at all.
