What is so dishonest about the wide realm of “pro-life” positions, there is really only ONE that makes logical sense.
Ban ANY and ALL “abortions” from the moment of conception.
If the “pro-life” position is that they are “saving pre-born children” that there should be no difference between the moment after conception…to six weeks…to 15 wee…

Either a fertilized egg is “life” or it’s not.
Of course, this is an absolutely absurd position that has scant support besides being incredibly dumb.
So, all the GOPer’s have to CLAIM that they are “pro-life” and then pile on exception after exception after exception.
My position (and I believe the majority of Americans) is this…..
It’s NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS. And certainly not for the government to impose its will and FORCE women to give birth.
If you believe otherwise, then DON’T GET AN ABORTION!!
I know a woman who had an abortion in the fifth month of her pregnancy. She was told by the doctors that the fetus had many abnormalities and would not have a good quality of life. They told her that her family of five would have to devote their lives to caring for this child who might not even be aware of their efforts. Is there anyone who would castigate her for her decision to abort at this stage?
There absolutely are. And these heartless bastards are one of the main reasons we're in the predicament we currently find ourselves. They are adamantly "pro" life all the way up to the moment of completion of parturition. Once the umbilical cord is severed...you're on your own!!!
Pro-Life is a terrible misnomer. Those labeling themselves as Pro-Life are actually Pro-Birth. That's why they oppose post-natal care programs, school lunches, public education, and any other program for the development of a child into a healthy, educated adult.
Makes you wonder how these so-called Christians justify to themselves when miscarriages occur. Do they blame G-d for ending a human life? (Or do they just think that somehow the woman caused it to happen, so she must be the culprit?)

Oh they definitely blame the women.
The latter, it is always the fault of the lesser being.😏
