But Biden has shown that he is willing to work with Republicans to get things done and Trump's tendency toward chaos and personal grievance may make things less functional. I doubt they will run to support the public servant but that doesn't mean they won't passively aggressively let Trump lose.
I am willing to bet that they would be happier with Trump than Biden. They really do not want the federal government or the IRS or the various regulating agencies to be that functional and they probably figure they can play the corrupt Trump more easily or just flat-out buy him.
I wonder which one of them will help him with posting his bond for his appeal (or which foreign nation--or combination of the two).
Who is this guy going to owe big time because of all the judgments against him?
And given his reputation, who is going to trust him enough to provide the cash (other than maybe Vlad or Xi).
