Absolutely.

From Trump's early emergence on the political stage to this day, I've always held him as a separate category from his enablers.

Trump is clearly a broken and flawed individual, and left to his own devices he would've never amounted to much of anything. He has no great intellect, no special drive, no organizational or other skill. His sole qualification for anything was being born to wealth, and with that wealth he was raised by a nurturing ecosystem of enablers who permitted him to become the unique, revolting filth he is today.

Trump is what he is because of the people around him who carry out his whims, who coddle his weaknesses and make his blight on our country possible.

Exactly, Josh. I was harsh on Wiles, and the rest, but even worse than the grifters like them, if that is possible, are McConnell, Graham, etc. And do not get me started on our corporate media that has given Trump a full pass on THOUSANDS of things, any ONE of which would have sunk any other politician in history. It is stupefying.

Trump has always gotten away with things that others would have been held accountable for. He should have been tried and even jailed multiple times before he ever rode down that tacky escalator.

They grifted off of him big time. And he's too stupid to realize it.

Worse than that, he does know it. Someone like him grows up seeing everyone around them as parasites because they pretty much all are.

There's a reason he's largely incapable of loyalty and why he's so transactional. It's also why he's so abusive to his leeches like Giuliani.

Jeri - there’s the expression, honor among thieves 🤣

The beauty part is that they each think they’re using each other cuz each one believes they’re smarter. Ship of fools
