However, if I have to choose between Lyin' Trump and Lyin' Kelly, I will choose to believe Kelly because the remarks he assigned to Trump sounded pernicious, shocking, and unpatriotic. And isn't that the Donald Trump we all know and hate?
I don't think Kelly lied about that. He just put a favorable spin on the interpretation of Trump's words -- probably because part of what Trump said had been a garbled version of something Kelly had told him, from the day he was notified of his son's death.
This was all in late 2017, several months before the "suckers" and "losers" remarks in France.
