Hard disagree on the dunking point - we need more Dems going viral for dunking on Conservatives. It has to be a certain kind of dunking however. It can’t be the “your opinion doesn’t matter because <insert XYZ intersectionality stuff you’re a white male> ” It has to be the kind of dunking where MAGA grift gets spelled out and the Dunked-on person is exposed as the one getting ripped off by MAGA. Nobody likes to look like the person getting ripped off.
The dunking and being mean to libs (the same intersectionality-conscious people who they felt were mean to them) is a big appeal of Trump for his younger Gen Z voters. Dunking in general is just plainly a part of social media. Anyone who’s trying to be successful in these channels by pretending they’re above it is dumb and won’t work.
Totally agree. Fight fire with real fire. There’s a guy named Stavros Halkias who has a podcast Staavy’s World. He does a lot of this & makes fun of the right - especially right leaning “comedians”. It’s raunchy & juvenile & would totally bring in some of that demo.
