One of the little details I noticed is that it seems like Gen Z has a different social cadence on video chat. Like, it seemed like they were just on a different wavelength from Tim.

Anyways, it's at least interesting to hear it from the horse's mouth. Given the way that us Millennials were so utterly fucked by the Great Recession and housing crisis, AND that the fucking is still *ongoing* because the Boomers prevented us from fixing any of the damn problems (and our activists went kinda nuts as well... oops)... well, I struggle taking Gen Z's problems seriously, even if I know that I should.
But I definitely also don't envy them. I don't think I'd trade for their problems if given the chance/forced to choose.
I hope that this discussion can help keep the lines of communication open. Because the reality is, both Millennials *AND* Z's are victims of the same Boomer (and now largely Xer) mismanagement. It's disappointing and sad that Z is veering rightward, that they helped make it worse in this election by ignorantly putting Trump over the finish line. But we can't let that curdle into mutual disgust. We need to start cooperating to fix this country's problems, because otherwise there isn't going to be much of one left.
I remember a line in Girls where an older adult say to Hannah: you couldn’t pay me to be 24 again. I think that can probably said by every generation.
Oof, no shade, but that was kinda rough.

Fellow Millennial here. I wish I could like your comment 20 times.
