I have a journalist 25-year-old who works for a nonprofit and very NONPARTISAN political news site in OKC (started out covering state education issues), an aspiring doctor-applying-to-medical-school 23-year-old and a 20-year-old engaged college student. They all give me great perspective and hope, too, because this generation ROCKS! They are thoughtful and balanced and passionate and trying to sort through and make sense of this. Their friends are too. If you ever need guests from Oklahoma I can connect you. Way to go! I already texted them to listen. Thank you for sharing your perspective,
Also, it is annoying when they don’t agree with me as the middle age mom he referenced, but my only requirements/advice/lessons for them growing up is to have an understanding and empathy for people who think differently and to make sure they do the actual reading on an issue and not just follow social media memes or their own algorithms without doing that. Sounds like Cameron grew up that way, too. I look forward to his interviews with other perspectives! Great interview. I will follow him too. Thank you!
