Why are people asking Hogan about how he would vote on abortion bills? Collins may have been a reliable vote against abortion bans. But she was a good soldier when it came to Trump's appointees, including Brett Kavanaugh. In defending her decision, she said that Kavanaugh assured her that he believes in stare decisis and that therefore confirming Kavanaugh would not endanger Roe v. Wade. Would Hogan engage in similar mental gymnastics to justify confirming Trump's appointees or would he hold the line?
